So far I'm on step 2 for you cure fore depression, Diet exercise and vitamins. I hang around a bunch of guys who don't exercise, eat pizza and drink beer, and don't know what viatmins are, they are happy why aren't I? Your process is intriguing but before I change my entire life to force a piece of the puzzle into a place it doesn't fit I need to know why.
Depression is a natural part of my life. It's rare that I'm not depress and rarer that I'm happy. I'm truly looking for help but you will have to excuse me if I'm not easily convinced that what your prescribing will work.
Because of the depression I'm on full disability and I'm not working. Unable to take my own life sucessfully I long for death at the unfortunate young age of 42. I know when people are fat there is fat farms to help them, do you have, or is there a place someone might go where a person might be able to learn and live the steps your suggesting. Fortunately for me insurance and money are not really a problem, but happiness and joy seem to come up short in this life.
It has yet to be seen wether what your trying to accomplish will pay off for me. I do congratulate you on trying to help people and the fact that your not charging for your services, speaks loudly about the person, persons, or company you are. If there is a God, which I feel there is, will bless people like you for your work. Thank You!

Thanks for sharing. A few years back I had the joy of meeting Dr. Gregg Jantz who successfully operates a holistic depression treatment recovery centre RIGHT IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD! I got to hear story after story of people coming to see him at the end of their rope. He shared of how one man came in with such anger and hatred and left with so much joy and love - his relationships were restored with family and friends. He shared of young people in highschool, young mothers, etc.
I even got to meet one of his former patients who now works at the centre with him. She spoke of her journey through depression and an eating disorder.
I have written about Dr. Gregg Jantz a few times on this site and have referred my readers to his book and info.

I highly recommend you look into it. No doubt you will hesitate but you're worth it. You are right- there is a God and I know what He can do and I know His love for us and for you.

Daniel, God has reached out to us in our own despair. He doesn't requires us to be perfect. He simply requires us to love Him back. All we have to do is let him change our lives. And boy can we be CHANGED! Dr. Gregg Jantz knows about this too. You can learn more from him too and how the spiritual piece of the pie fits into beating depression. It's absolutely freedom filled! Throwing off the shackles of depression requires addressing all areas of your life: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual.
Whatever you do, don't allow your fear to prevent you from getting the real help you need. :) Who cares what others will think? Trust me, when you get out on the other side - they will flock to you and congratulate you and even one day seek YOU for help. Then, in turn, you can share with others what you have learned. You can share hope with others! You can be here too!
