Are non-fish sources of omega-3s (flax,etc.) effective in combating depression?
I am vegan, and I am having problems with depression. My diet is probably deficient in omega-3s, but I don't eat fish or fish products. Is flax oil an alternative for vegetarians/vegans or people with fish allergies?
